“The
mama’s funeral”/ Street Performance
Cacahuete was
established in 1984 in Avignon, France. Since its creation the
theatre has been working in the area of experimental, perishable
street theatre.
“The mama’s
funeral” is a tragicomic stroll for a burial in the city. A family
is desperately looking for the path to the cemetery, carrying along
with them the casket of their dead mother. Cacahuete improvises,
using the traffic, the shops, the parks, the churches, and the
audience…
