UK "The Overcoat" by N.Gogol /
Animated scenography Each year a company
is formed from graduates of the MA Scenography course at the
University in order to show particular work of the university in a
variety of venues across Europe and elsewhere. This year the
performance “The Overcoat” was shown at the Sibiu International
Festival, Romania, and at the Arena Festival, Erlangen, Germany. “The Overcoat” is
an adaptation of the short story by Gogol, played as a combination
of puppet, sculptural objects and backgrounds, and film animation. Art Director: Riitta Hakkarainen
