“Nugzar and Mephisto" / Phantasmagoria

 “Nugzar and Mephisto” is a modern adaptation of Goethe’s “Faust” done by Lasha Bughadze.  Director GeorgiTavadze creates comic phantasmagoria of life and death of architect – failure Nugzar Ketashvili.

The hero is our contemporary, a lonely man with ruined life. In despair he tries to commit suicide, but   is stopped by Mephisto, the one, who long time ago, concluded an agreement with doctor Faust. At the end Nugzar realizes that neither wealth nor power gave happiness to him and his beloved people...
