Welcome to the Fourth edition of HIGH FEST International Performing Arts Festival! The event will take place on 4-14 October 2006. It is organized by the main support of Prime Minister of Armenia. From 2004 the HIGH FEST was recognized by international institutions as the main festival in the South Caucasian Region.  

Besides the Main Program of the HIGH FEST 2007 Festival, three International Theatre Festivals will be held in the framework of the Festival: 

* Puppet and Children Festival (third edition);

* Fringe Programme;

* Showcase of Armenian Theatres.

More than 300 participants (theatre companies and VIP guests) from 30 countries (UK, Austria, USA, Switzerland, Russia,Spain, Latvia, Argentina, The Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Israel, Croatia, Macedonia,    and others) will get together to enjoy this great event. 

The HIGH FEST has developed and expanded to include not only theatre, but also other forms of performing arts. From 2006 the HIGH FEST International Theatre Festival will present productions in all genres of performing arts including theatre (drama, comedy, mime, movement, circus, street performances, puppet /marionette, fingers and visual theatre), dance (modern, folk, classic etc.), music and other forms of performing arts.

Besides the main program of the Festival i.e. the performances, other events such as seminars, master classes will be organized to create a favorable atmosphere of ideas and experience exchange.

The Festival will offer the audience a unique opportunity to see the highly artistic samples of performing arts-  including all genres such as theatre (dramatic and comedy, musical and contemporary dance, marionette and puppetry, plastic and verbal, mime and street performances etc, Dance (contemporary, classical, folk etc), music (opera, folk music).
