CLOSING CEREMONY

HIGH FEST International Theatre Festival was officially closed on October 9 2003 . The Closing ceremony took place at the Yerevan State Chamber Theatre.

All the participant theatres were given certificates of participation. The jury of VIP experts awarded several companies with Festival special prize, the Globe – Pomegranate , on which the smiling and sad masks look ahead, and a single country glistens like a gold - our Country - Armenia . It symbolizes the idea, that on the Festival days Armenia becomes the “center of theatre world”.

The Organizers are positive, that HIGH FEST will become the Noah's ark, from where the Armenian theatres will start their big journeys to the world theatre festivals and present the forever-young art of Ancient Armenia to the overseas audiences.
